Today, our middle and high school students honored our nation's heroes with a heartfelt Veterans Day assembly. Students shared the history of Veterans Day while our talented choir and band performed a stirring medley of military songs. We were privileged to hear from two veterans who shared inspiring stories and reflections on what it means to serve. Students ate lunch with the Veterans. It was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for our freedom. Thank you to all who have served! ๐๐๏ธ #VeteransDay #HonoringOurHeroes #HuskiePride

Varsity Volleyball
Our Huskies Volleyball team wrapped up the fall sports season in incredible style! This week, they headed to Districts in Ashley, where they entered as the #2 seed, earning a first-round bye. Wednesday night, they took on Fulton, and in true Huskies spirit, staged a thrilling comeback after being down 13-23. The girls fought back to win the first set 28-26 and carried that momentum, winning the next two sets 26-24 and 25-20. So many standout performances lit up the court:
Liz McCaw: 13 kills, 23 digs
Lily St. John: 5 kills
BayLeigh Clapp: 15 digs
Emma & Kayla: 2 blocks each
Madi Aldrich: 15 assists, 3 aces
This incredible win earned them a shot at the District Championship on Friday night against the top-ranked team in Michigan, Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart. The girls gave it everything, starting strong in the first set and leading early. Although they didnโt pull out the win (18-25, 20-25, 19-25), they showed tremendous heart and left it all on the court! Our Huskies ended this memorable season with a phenomenal record of 40-5-4. They won three out of four tournaments, often competing against larger schools, and secured a 2nd-place finish in the MSAC. These athletes have so much to be proud of, and the packed gym on Friday night was a testament to the pride and support of our Breckenridge community. Fantastic work, ladies! ๐๐
