Nice day for an August meet. Rolling into this meet a week after camp, school starting back up, hot weather coming in, etc but we didn't let that stop us from running tough.
Boys race we unfortunately don't have a full team to place but other teams didn't have a full squad either and I know we beat some of those teams. We do have 3 boys starting Monday so I'm excited for them to have a full team for the next meet in 11 days.
Girls race was what I expected. I told them going in we would have 5 in the top 8 and we did. Had 6 in the top 12 for that matter. Only raced 6 of our 9 girls today and they scored 23 points for a good ol fashion butt whooping. Not sure what 2nd place score even was. We know what we have moving forward. Big things coming this year.

Huge congrats to our Varsity Volleyball team on their big win over St. Louis! The Huskies took the match in 4 sets: 25-16, 25-18, 18-25, 25-19. Awesome performances by Liz McCaw with 15 kills and 20 digs, BayLeigh Clapp with 20 digs and 3 aces, Blair Davenport with 16 assists, and Maddie Breece with 5 kills and 5 digs. Way to go, ladies! Some of our Breckenridge Community Staff (B.E.R.T., Coaches, GSRP, 1st year teachers) are teaming up with the Breckenridge/Wheeler 🔥 Fire Department 🚒 to renew and enhance our CPR training. Our sideline cheerleaders had a blast kicking off their season with a cheer camp with the St. Charles cheer team! 👯♀️ They worked on tumbling, cheers, and even created a new routine together! Can't wait to see them cheer together at our Huskies vs. St. Charles game! Let's go, Huskies! 🐾
